Monday - Basketball at PCYC

‘Learn to Play’ Basketball

‘Come Along and Bring a Friend’

The “Learn to Play” Basketball begins at 4pm on Monday afternoons. Last week was the biggest attendance so far with over 30 children eager to learn basketball, rolling up to practice and learn new skills while having a load of fun.

The “Learn to Play” is aimed at school aged children up to Year 6 at school, and is a coaching session teaching the basics of the game, followed by a social game of Basketball enabling children to put what they have learned in to practice. A special thanks to Sarah Anstey for assisting with the coaching!

With the numbers attending ‘Learn to Play’ increasing each week, we are hoping to create a junior competition in the not too distant future.

Come along and learn to play basketball (first session is obligation free), bring a friend, and have some fun!!

Cost for the “Learn to Play” is $25 per person for the school term plus PCYC membership if not already a PCYC member.
