Garden club’s seasonal stirrings
COWRA Garden Club’s July meeting has discussed viewing of the Garretts’ garden to be held on a Sunday afternoon, with afternoon tea to follow.
The date is yet to be determined.
Plans for Cowra’s open gardens are going well and the club is hoping to hold this event on the second weekend in October.
Members heard an address by Joanne Campbell (pictured right between Aerial Piccles, left, and Helen Tozzer), who spoke about the Lachlan River’s aquatic ecosystems.
Bill Batton was thanked for donating a flag to the club.
Members are advised that the August monthly and annual meetings will be held on Thursday night, August 2. |
