Man fails 17 times to give RBT sample
A 70-YEAR-OLD Harden man has failed 17 times to provide an adequate breath-test sample after he was stopped for an RBT in Murrumburrah, police say.
The man was pulled up on Albury St about 3pm Sunday but, after failing to provide an acceptable sample, he was arrested and taken to Harden Police Station for a breath analysis.
Again he allegedly refused to provide an adequate sample of his breath.
Officers observed that the man was in fact under the influence of alcohol at the time, police say.
His driver’s licence was suspended and he was issued with a Court Attendance Notice to appear at Cootamundra Local Court at a later date.
