Man critical after two-vehicle smash
A MAN from Orange is in a critical condition in Sydney’s Westmead Hospital after a two-vehicle smash on Cargo Rd.
The 27-year-old has undergone emergency thoracic surgery, with his family reportedly is at his bedside.
The man’s vehicle and another collided at the intersection of Cargo and Lake Canobolas Rds about 5:20am on Wednesday.
He was cut from the wreck then taken to Orange Base Hospital where he was stabilised before being transported to Westmead Hospital.
The man sustained severe chest injuries, several broken limbs and a fractured pelvis. |
