Man dead, woman critical after collision
A MAN is dead and his female passenger left critically injured after a road crash at Leppington, in Sydney’s southwest.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Bringelly Rd and Fourth Avenue, Leppington, after the crash between a Saab sedan and a Toyota Landcruiser shortly after 12:30pm yesterday (Tuesday), police say.
A 64-year-old Kemps Creek man driving the Saab died at the scene.
His front-seat passenger, a 43-year-old woman from Horsley Park, suffered critical injuries and was taken to Liverpool Hospital.
The 28-year-old man driving the Landcruiser and his 32-year-old male passenger were uninjured.
The driver was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
