Cowra Netball Association news, results and draw

WHAT great weather for netball last weekend. Many teams continue to fight it out for top 4 positions on the ladder with only two more weeks of netball remaining.

As semi finals come nearer players are reminded that team uniforms must be worn to all games and should be the same for the whole team.

Bike pants may be worn under skirts but must not be below the hem of the skirt.

Also players need to ensure they have played 5 games prior to semi finals to qualify to play please refer to score sheet for details.

As the finals near closer many fun and exciting events will be held shortly with more details to become available over the coming weeks.

September 1 will be our junior presentation and fun day commencing at 11am.

Presentation will be held for 5-7 years and Under 10’s age groups as all juniors in this age group receive a special something for their efforts over the year.

During this time a jumping castle, lucky dips, face painting, hair spray, helium balloons, raffle and BBQ will be running for a fun filled event for the whole family.

Following the 11-12 years game players of this age group are encouraged to join in the fun also.

Anyone who is interested in helping on the day please see the lovely ladies in the canteen and put your name down.

Presentation Night for 11-12 years, 12-14 years, B and A Grade will held on September 15 in which winners and runners up will receive their trophies.

Trophies for rep players, best and fairest for the year and grand final will be also presented on this night as well as recognition for coaches and umpires

for their commitment to the association.

The presentation night is the second year running and will once again be held at The Valley Hotel/Motel with entertainment for all ages on the night.

This is sure to be a great night so keep your eye out for more information plus tickets as we hope to see you all there.
