Seeking descendants of Jane Parker
Sir,
I’m writing a book on the bushranger John Vane, who has many links with the Cowra Shire.
Once he was remitted from Darlinghurst he married Jane Parker and they lived out their lives around Woodstock and Milburn Creek.
Jane died in 1938 at the age of 85 and is buried in the Woodstock Cemetery, in the Church of England section, but the plot location is unknown.
I’ve been making plans to install a memorial headstone for her, next to her husband in the Woodstock Cemetery.
I have been given advice from the Cowra Council on how to proceed.
Is it possible to utilise your website to notify descendants and other interested people to give them an opportunity to provide input into the wording on the plaque etc?
If so, could you let me know how I might go about arranging that?
