Baby survives crash that killed three
A 15-MONTH-OLD baby has survived a car crash near Cooma that killed three adults.
The crash happened about 2pm yesterday (Saturday) when two cars collided on the Monaro Highway some 10km north of Cooma, police say.
A 67-year-old man from Farrar in the ACT, who was airlifted to The Canberra Hospital in a critical condition, died from his injuries today (Sunday).
Two women aged in their 60s also died following the collision.
A 67-year-old woman, also from Farrar, a passenger in the man’s car, died on the way to Cooma Hospital yesterday.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 62-year-old woman from Gowrie in the ACT, died at the scene.
The 15-month-old toddler was travelling in her car but sustained only minor injuries. |
