Canadians sore and sorry after naked
shopping-cart ride through car wash
THREE drunk Canadian men have been told off by police and sent home feeling sore and sorry for themselves after attempting a midnight ride through a car wash while naked and sitting in a shopping trolley.
The trio of 20-year-olds tried their stunt in Abbotsford, southeast of Vancouver on the United States border, setting the car wash to a “typhoon” setting.
Neighbours phoned police when they heard screams coming from the car wash and officers “arrived to find intoxicated men putting their clothes back on, and realising that the best decisions aren’t made while drunk and at a car wash without a car in the middle of the night,” says Abbotsford police spokesman Ian MacDonald.
Abbotsford Police Department later tweeted: “APD warns that pressure washing yourself will not increase intelligence or sobriety.” |
