International Women’s Day breakfast
COWRA women will hold a special breakfast to celebrate the achievements, courage and resilience of women for International Women’s Day next Friday, March 8.
A full buffet breakfast is to be served at the Lot 31 Restaurant & Bar, Kendal St, at 8am.
Arrival is encouraged around 7:45am – cost $20 per head.
Local groups have banded together to organise this as an early morning event so those who work on Fridays have the opportunity to join us for a breakfast and can arrive at work by 9am, or earlier if they wish .
There’ll be plenty of opportunity to meet and eat with friends, colleagues and women new to the town.
A short inspirational film featuring Joan Halifax will be shown.
Bookings are essential by 12-noon on Wednesday, March 6.
