Man charged with stabbing murder
A BATHURST man will appear in custody before court today (Wednesday) charged with the stabbing murder of man in the city.
The 40-year-old was refused police bail yesterday (Tuesday) to appear before Bathurst Local Court this morning.
The man is charged with the murder a 49-year-old man in a Rocket St unit block about 8:30am yesterday.
Police and ambulance responded to a Triple Zero call following a report of a disturbance.
Officers found the man with a stab wound to the chest.
He died at the scene.
Police say the accused was “known to the victim”, reports say.
