Heard the one about the prince,
the blonde and her red zip-dress?
NEVER one to let political correctness stop a good gag, the Duke of Edinburgh has done it again – this time a jaw-dropping joke about a blonde in a red-hot zip-up dress.
During a visit to Bromley in Kent, Prince Philip met Hannah Jackson, 25, at a rope line.
The 90-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth II took a glance at Ms Jackson’s striking outfit, which featured a full-length zipper down the front, and exclaimed to a policeman nearby: “I would get arrested if I unzipped that dress!”
The cop apparently could not contain himself and burst out laughing.
As for the lady who caught the prince’s eye?
“I’m not sure really what to say,” Ms Jackson said.
At the same event, fun-loving Philip asked an elderly woman covered with a foil blanket to keep warm: “Are they going to put you in the oven next?”
The royal couple visited Bromley as part of the monarch’s Diamond Jubilee tour.
Philip, who turns 91 next month, is known for his politically incorrect quips.
Two years ago, upon meeting a woman who worked in a nightclub, the rakish prince asked: “Is it a strip club?”
Earlier this year, Philip asked a disabled man on a mobility scooter how many people he had run down with the vehicle.
