Woman dies as station wagon hits tree
A WOMAN is dead after she was thrown from her station wagon when it crashed into a tree in the New England region.
Police say the 64-year-old woman was driving northwest on Red Range Rd, Glen Innes, when the vehicle crossed to the incorrect side of the roadway before slamming into the tree about 12:30pm yesterday (Saturday).
She died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
