Cowra Netball Association News

Last weekend brought a great weekend of netball with superb weather over the two days. On Saturday 19 May Beth Moore and Joanna Treasure were successful in gaining their National C Badge for umpiring. Thank you to Rachel Hughes a Netball NSW representative and A Badged umpire who came over to assist with the badging and also to Pauline Rowston, Claire Allan and Marg McMurtrie who all assisted with the badging and providing feedback to the girls during the game. That night 19 up and coming umpires attended the Level 1 Umpires Course at Cowra Public School with Rachel Hughes running the course providing valuable insight into the basic rules of the game and techniques needed in umpiring.
