M&D bushrangers take to the road
THE Cowra Music and Dramatic Society troupe (right) has performed its show Carry on Bushranging in Eugowra.
The St Joseph’s School Hall performance was staged in connection with the 150th anniversary celebrations of the gold robbery at Escort Rocks.
The show was warmly received and a financial success with the audience drawn from the town population of 530.
Proceeds will help the organising committee cover insurance for sesquicentenary celebrations to be held at Eugowra Showground on Saturday, June 16. |
