Screwdriver threat to van occupants
TWO men have broken into a campervan and threatened its occupants with a screwdriver before escaping with property at Bourke early today (Monday)
Police say the victims, aged 17 and 52, were in the van on Sturt St about 1am when two men broke in and demanded cash and other property.
The two men took some property and fled on foot along a walking track running parallel to the Darling River.
Both have been described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 20 to 25 years of age, 190cm to 195cm tall, wearing hooded jacket/jumpers with scarves covering their mouths and noses. One of the men had curly hair.
Police have seized the caravan for examination.
No-one was injured in the incident.
